Hello all! It has been a crazy last month or two. Sam was sick and then Elizabeth and I. Elizabeth seems to be learning new words every day. Last weekend we were looking at shoes. She already knows shoes and socks. But I told her were were looking for cute shoes. Since then, she calls everything cute! I held up an outfit today and asked her what she though..she said, "cute." Even her hair is growing! I am including some pics of her in pigtails for the first time ever. It was so cute! Also, she has had another growth spurt. She is now in 2T or 24 months only. anything smaller doesn't fit. She seems almost ready to potty train. she is starting to recognize when she is wet. She will bring us a diaper and her cream. Or say pee pee. She has also been trying on underwear after we put her to bed. Several times we have woken her up the next morning to find a swimmee on over her diaper. I thought Sam was doing it and he thought I was doing it. We figured out what was going on one night when she started screaming. We went in there and died laughing. She had two legs in one hole of her swimmees from last summer and was stuck. We have gotten her some big girl pants to put over her diaper. She has to have them on. If we don't put them on, she will find some to wear. :) Also in the pictures is my little sister Ashleigh.

More updates
Okay..Adding two more pictures of Elizabeth. She was being silly with her food. School was back in today after our "snow storm." As you can see, Elizabeth has learned to use her fork and spoon. Still a little messy though. I am loving that Sam works at Lowes. He gets to be home more and we get to spend more time with him. He is fixing dinner right now while i am updating this. He has been a big help and it makes me thankful that I have such a wonderful husband. One of my friends is going through some marriage trouble and hearing about makes me thankfull that Sam and I can talk about anything that is bothering us. It makes me thankful that he listens and is always there when we need him. Sometimes I have taken that for granted. Elizabeth says hello. She wants to come play on the computer. She just pointed to the picture of her and then to herself. I'm gonna load another one or two I just took of us. She blew a kiss to all of you! :) She has gotten in her first 4 molors..within days of each other. Her teeth are coming in twos. I guess that is about it. I need to go play with the goofy girl before we eat and she goes to bed. Got some work to do after she does. :) I hope everyone has a great day/night!

Snow day!
Just to show all of you northerners how crazy we are down here...All school was cancelled today because of concen for the safty of everyone due to a big snowstorm. Heheehe The picture below is Elizabeth playing in the "snow" at twelve in the afternoon. Also below is Elizabeth sleeping. I keep cleaning her room but since she is now in a toddler bed, she has figured out that she can get up and play. Her favorite thing to do is to pull out all her favorite blankets and to throw blocks over the gate to her room. She is trying to get us to come in there and spring her. It is getting better though.

Pictures
Here are some pictures for everyone. Before I post them, I would just like to say that we have a high today of 74 degrees. I heard that Daniel was complaining of a wind chill of -35. I just wanted to gloat. :) The pictures I added are of her at the zoo, riding a horse, wearing a bowl of mac and cheese as a hat, halloween, and cuddling with daddy and one of her sitting on her couch, reading.

New Updates
I just figured out that I can change the blog from my school computer. I will bring in some updated pictures to post next week. In the meantime, Here are some updates about the family...
Sam- Now works at Lowes as a flooring manager. He is enjoying himself and the hours allow him to spend more time with the family. He misses being around everyone. We have talked about moving west in a few years or so.
Me- Teaching high school is a blast. I love my students and teaching here is more fun than what it used to be. I don't feel as burned out. I've had some trouble with migranes but we are getting that under control.
And now for the one everyone really wants to know about......
Elizabeth - 8 teeth, 32 1/2 inches tall, 24 lbs. Growing and goofy. When I get her up in the morning, she tries to lay back down and pull the covers over her head. It is too cute. I'll ask her if she is playing possum and she will grin and shake her head no. Her vocabulary has increased. She will ask for her paci, tell you no, say thank you, boo, and bye. She tries to say some other words but we are still figuring it out. she sings and loves the Muppets. She will dance and watch them. She likes to play and will blow you a rasberry in an attempt to get you to chase her. She likes to wear jewery and still loves the stuffed animals. Robin sent her an outfit and a dress for Christmas. We opened the shoes first. She grabbed them and then got mad when I tied to put them back in the box. I gave her one and she tried to put them on. We had to let her try them on and walk in them. The dress she got is perfect. I was so excited when I saw that Robin had sent a dress. I will have to post pictures of her in it. The outfit she sent fits nicely. She is wearing it today. It is so cute! Elizabeth's hair is getting long. She is beginning to look more like me. I showed Sam an ornament on my mom's Christmas tree with a picture of me. He thought it was Elizabeth. heheeehee Well, it's time to go...I will write more Monday. :)
