First Thanksgiving

Hello Hello! I'll be adding several pictures today. There is one of Sam and my sister Ashleigh, one of me and Elizabeth sleeping, and one of Elizabeth curled up in Great Grandma Roosenboom's blanket eating. Her diaper rash is looking better (Thank God!!). She screams and fights us when we try to change her. Today was her first thanksiving ever. She was VERy good. She hung out in a walker in Grandma Smith's kitchen while we cooked. Aunt Ashleigh helped me make deviled eggs. So did Uncle David. Who still doesn't act like he had surgery Tuesday. They got to see thier first turkey frying. It was awesome. My mom made eyes and a nose for "Frank" the turkey. Then she put a sign on him that said "Please Don't Eat Me." Everyone wanted to see the turkey drop into the pot. My mom and dad have never eaten fried turkey. When they ate it they were surprised. They are already making plans to do this next year. Ususally we got eat lunch at mom's and then come here and cook. My mom usually pulls a lot of stuff out of the can. We decided this year to eat and cook together. It was awesome. Chase said this was his favorite Thanksgiving. We even all sat around the table and ate. Caleb, Heather's boyfriend was there. After eating it was naptime for pretty much everyone. It was good to get around the table and do this together for a change. It will definantly be a tradition we keep up in the future. Tomorrow...the Christmas tree comes out. :) Yea!!!! I'm going to try to get some Christmas pictures of Elizabeth and of all of us. It should be cute. I can't wait! I'm debating braving the mall or not tomorrow. There is an ornament or two I really want to get for our tree and for other people.

Chrissy's family recap....for those of you who don't know them....Me (26), Heather - 17, senior in high school, B-day is Dec 13th., Kelly - 16, Junior in high school, Chase - Twin, 5 yrs old, kindergarten, sneaky but fun. Sounds like a great day. Always good when the house doesn't burn down when frying turkeys. Our turkey spent 4 hours in the oven. Lots of leftovers, Daniel will take most back to Missoula for sandwiches. I'll bet Elizabeth enjoyed the crowd and the noise. Enjoy the rest of your weekend and thanks for the pictures.
Love Grandpa, Grandma, and Daniel
