TGIF

Hello hello! It's been a crazy week around here. School has had a lot going on. Thank God next week is only two days long. My brother has surgery next Tuesday. My teenage sisters are both in trouble. One because of class grades, and the other because of SAT scores. Not good. Elizabeth is pretty good tonight. My mom kept her last night because I had class and I picked her up when I was done. The daycare forgot to give my mom the diaper bag I left for her so My mom put small diapers on her instead. It was funny. Then, this morning, Sam dressed Elizabeth and put on her jacket. Then he buckled her into the carseat. When I got to daycare I put her in an exersaucer and took off the jacket. :o and Behold...Sam had put her shirt on backwards. I figured he did it to be funny because he had done it by accident a month ago. But come to find out he did not. He thought is was a polo shirt. Doesn't matter that it has a design on it...You would think the tag would clue him in. Lol! Well, not much more to write. Aunt Susan, she loves her toys and the pink jacket is so precious! Thank you so much for the gifts. The ball esecially gets her attention. I was excited about the books. I am a reader and I teach language arts and math. Elizabeth has her own library. I have lots of Dr. Suess books and 2 treasuries of nusery rhymes. The Pooh, Disney, and Bedtime stories are great! They have been added to her libabry. I'm thinking she is going to need her own bookshelf before long. I'm going to put a pic on here of Elizabeth in her clothes that Sam put on backwards. It's cute!

Hi! Wow! It's my first blog... I can't tell you just how proud I am to be Elizabeth's Great-Auntie Gretchen. I loved getting the pix-texts from Robin and Steve while they were there. This is too awesome. I have no advice on long sleepless nights, but I can still empathize. I do remember helping rock Sam to sleep...playing the piano for him...Elizabeth is destined to be a GREAT memory maker. I love you all!!! Auntie Gretchen
